Suomen World Vision
World Vision Finland and the Santa Claus Foundation signed a partnership agreement in the autumn of 2011. The agreement is based on our mutual mission to support the well-being of children all over the world.
World Vision Finland is a development cooperation organization promoting children’s rights and proper living conditions. It is an independent member of World Vision International, the world’s largest child sponsorship organization. World Vision operates in nearly 100 countries and has 40,000 employees serving some 100 million people, of which nearly four million are children.
World Vision Finland engages in long-term development cooperation in Africa, Asia and Latin America. The aim is to achieve a permanent change and thus improve the overall well-being of children, families and communities. World Vision Finland is a non-political organization and is not affiliated with any particular church. Its activities are based on Christian values and absolute respect for other people’s beliefs. World Vision Finland is a partnership organization of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland and a member of the Finnish Fundraising Association (VaLa ry).
Save the Children Finland
Save the Children Finland is a politically and religiously independent non-profit organization founded in 1922 that particularly supports children living in poor conditions and fights for children’s rights in Finland and all over the world. Save the Children Finland is part of Save the Children International that supports children in over 100 countries. The organization’s vision is to create a world in which every child attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation.
